Sino Steel supplies hot-rolled plate, hot-rolled sheet and cold-rolled sheet in ASTM, GB, EN and JIS grades. Orders can include cut-to-size processing, oiling, galvanizing, inspection and export packing.
Carbon steel is available as hot-rolled plate, hot-rolled sheet and cold-rolled sheet. Grade, thickness, surface condition and the customer's next processing step determine which form is the better fit.

We quote to the grade and standard stated in the RFQ. If a buyer asks about an alternative grade, we compare the relevant specification, delivery condition and thickness range before proposing it.
Common choices for structural fabrication, machinery bases, frames and general project steel.
Q345 still appears in many existing drawings and purchasing lists, while Q355 is common in newer structural enquiries.
For EN grades, the JR/J0/J2 impact class is quoted together with the requested thickness and delivery condition.
JIS structural plate grades and thin-sheet grades are handled separately because their rolling routes, thickness ranges and surface conditions differ.
Hot rolling and cold rolling produce noticeably different thickness ranges and surface conditions, so the required route should be clear in the RFQ.
For structural fabrication, machinery, project steel and general manufacturing.
For thin-gauge applications where a cleaner surface and closer dimensional control are preferred.
We check the finished plate against the confirmed order. For cut pieces, that includes the requested dimensions, squareness and the condition of the cut edges before packing.
Measured against the ordered nominal thickness and the tolerance stated in the applicable standard or purchase specification.
We check mill dimensions or finished cut dimensions before shipment.
Important where plate geometry affects fabrication or final assembly.
Carbon steel plate can leave the mill in standard dimensions or be prepared before shipment with finished sizes, holes or edge preparation.
We cut plate to drawing or order dimensions.
Flame or plasma cutting is selected to suit the plate thickness, part geometry and required edge quality.
We complete simple drilling and bevel preparation before packing.
Surface condition should match how the material will be stored, fabricated and protected from corrosion.
Standard hot-rolled condition for general fabrication and structural use.
Oiling provides temporary surface protection before storage or further processing.
For suitable plate and sheet orders, we can add zinc coating when the finished material needs an additional corrosion barrier.
For regular zinc-coated sheet supply, see Galvanized Steel Sheet.
A thin cold-rolled sheet and a heavy structural plate are not checked in exactly the same way. The inspection scope follows the material form and the RFQ.
We check thickness, width, length, flatness and cut dimensions against the confirmed order.
Surface condition, plate corners, cut edges and visible handling damage are reviewed before release.
Specify ultrasonic testing for medium and heavy plate orders when the project has an internal-quality requirement.
We match mill origin to the grade, dimensions, quantity and project requirements. Original heat and MTC information stays linked to the material through inspection, cutting and packing.
A heavy mill plate does not need the same export protection as thin cold-rolled sheet. We choose dunnage, edge protection and wrapping to suit the material, surface and shipping method.
Supported on suitable dunnage with lifting and loading access maintained.
Thin sheet can receive additional edge and moisture protection to reduce handling and transit damage.
We bundle, palletize or box short and processed pieces so that individual parts remain stable during handling.
For applications requiring corrosion resistance through the material rather than by a surface coating.
